takes major step toward Green Building
Company Vice President Gains Certified Green Professional (CGP™) Distinction
STUART, Florida. March 4, 2009 – First Florida Development and Construction today announced that Mark Duvall, Vice President, has been awarded the distinction of a Certified Green Professional (CGP™) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). An individual step toward incorporating more green building practices at the company, Duvall completed designated coursework and testing that encompassed the latest methods and tools available to promote sustainability and energy efficiency in green home building available today.
In an endeavor to gain more green building knowledge to apply to future projects at the company, this individual certification demonstrates to clients and peers that Duvall understands the principles of water, energy and resource efficiency, indoor and environmental quality and lot and site development for green homes.
First Florida is dedicated to environmental stewardship and is continuously working toward incorporating green building into future projects.
